whose alternative shows a great deal of dexterity.
But they say he’s a threat to the nation.

There’s a man who wants QE for the common people
instead of mindlessly pump-priming the capitalist steeple.
But they say he will wreck the economy.

There’s a man who wants to lead a labour government
for the sole purpose of our material and social improvement.
But they say he’s a threat to civilisation.

There’s a man who is inspiring the millions
to gain control of those tax evading billions.
But they say he’s an enemy of big business.

There’s a man who wants politics from below
but the entrenched establishment keep telling him NO.
And they call him a threat to the system.

There’s a man who wants to back free education
and bring energy under the control of the nation.
But they say he’s a foolish child of the eighties.

There’s a man who wants to build homes for the needy
with an investment bank, the plan seems quite easy.
But they say he’s a threat to Great Britain.

There’s a man who wants an independent foreign policy
which is free from the prevailing neo-liberal ideology.
But they say he’s a threat to democracy.

There’s a man who wants to pull out of an expansionist NATO
which he claims is nothing but an anachronistic cold war potato.
But they say he’s a naive unilateralist.

There’s a man who wants to replace the Trident deterrent
with non-nuclear alternatives that are glaringly apparent.
But they say he is a tool of the Russians.

There’s a man who wants to break up the corporate media
Which is responsible for whipping up hatred and nasty xenophobia.
But they scream he’s a dangerous extremist.

There’s a man who welcomes the political involvement of the young
who are sick of politicians who endlessly talk with fork-tongue.
But they accuse him of destroying the party.

There’s a man who’s a passionate believer in equality
not some tacky, party conference, sound-bite frivolity.
But they denounce him as a utopian dreamer.

There’s a man who believes the human spirit is invincible
And he’s always acted and voted on that simple principle.
But they say he’s a commie and a loner.

There’s a man who is mobilising many million
without which he will be consigned to oblivion.
And his detractors loath and despise him.

There’s a man who would be a progressive Prime Minister
but he is up against dark forces most sinister.
And they are plotting his downfall already.
